All the parents, including companies, scholarships and staff parents, are required to pay the text book fee along with the first instalment. 3. For remarking or correction of IGCSE, AS/A Level papers, prior approval is required from the Examination Officer, without which the accounts department will not accept the remarking fee. Remarking is non-refundable. 4. Fees cannot usually be transferred from one child to another, even within the same family. PAYMENT METHODS 5. Doha Academy cashier will not issue the receipt if the parent/guardian has settled partial amount of payment advice. 10. If we do not receive the bank deposit slip or bank transfer letter or printout of online bank transfer, your child’s account will be considered as unpaid. Payment Procedures for New Registrations 11. Newly registered students will be sent a Registration Payment Advise via the registered email address. The payment advise will include the following information: a. Student registration details b. Fee payment details c. Bank account details 12. After successful payment of full fee, whether at Bank or to Doha Academy Cashier, the parents will be given an official receipt by the School cashier. 13. Parents are required to submit the receipt to the registration department without which the child would not be enrolled on the school student register. Payment Procedures for Continuing Students 14. a. Seat reservation fees are collected from March to the end of the academic year, if found in the fees schedule . Parents are not required to pay seat reservation fees at the beginning of the academic year. b. Payment receipt will contain the following information regarding seat reservation of your child; i. Student ISAMs ID ii. Student Name iii. Amount paid REFUND / DEDUCTION POLICY 15. As per the refund / deduction policy, tuition fee will be charged on calendar day basis if the student withdrawal application is received in less than or equal to 30 calendar days from the beginning of the term. Withdrawal application received after 30 calendar days from start of academic year or registration whichever is later, full term tuition fee is payable. 16. If the student withdrawal application is received after more than 30 calendar days from the start of the second term, Second and third term fee are non-refundable. 17. All other types of fees i.e. entrance exam, registration, books, remark fee, reservation fee (no show) are non-refund - able. 18. Refund / deduction policy is applicable on tuition and bus fee only SIBLING DISCOUNT POLICY 19. A sibling discount of 5% is offered for the third child, 10% for the fourth child, 15% for the fifth child and onwards. This discount is only applicable on tuition fee. and add underneath * Vouchers, as per MOE Payment terms. COMPANY SPONSORED STUDENTS 20. The sponsoring companies will be sent a payment advice / invoice as per the payment terms; 21. In case of company sponsored students, the School will require the following additional information; a. Confirmation of sponsored employees’ children before the beginning of the academic year; b. Commercial registration of the sponsoring company; c. Single point contact person in HR and accounts department; TERMS AND CONDITIONS 22. All tuition fees will be billed in advance, shall be settled as per the fee schedule published by the School, and must be paid prior to the end of due date. 23. Reports and transfer certificates will not be released until all outstanding fees have been settled. 24. Doha Academy school’s fees are reviewed annually and are subject to increases. The school will endeavor to give a full term’s notice of any changes to the fees subject to Ministry of Education & Higher Education approval. 25.
